Another successful HiTSeq this year

We coorganized the 5th Conference on High-throughput Sequencing in Long Beach, California (http://hitseq.org).

The meeting had more than 200 participants and featured keynotes from Stan Nelson, Chris Sander and Gholson Lyon.

We also contributed with talks to the program: Jonas Behr talked about his transcript prediction program MiTie that can exploit multiple samples to increase reconstructing accuracy. Also previous group member Gabriele Schweikert and Georg Zeller talked at the meeting. Gabriele about an approach for CHiP-Seq analysis based on MMD, which is similar to an approach that we developed for detecting differential transcript expression.
