Publications:

A list of publications can be found here.

Research Interests:

RNA Sequencing:
I have been working on the development of a technique based on quadratic programming, called rQuant, to quantitatively detect alternative and novel transcripts from RNA-Seq data.
SNP Detection in O. sativa:
In order to reveal SNPs from array-based resequencing data for 20 varieties of domesticated rice, I adapted and refined the SVM-based method developed in the A. thaliana SNP project.
Polymorphic Region Detection in O. sativa:
To predict highly polymorphic regions in O. sativa and thus complement the set of SNP calls from the OryzaSNP project, I adapted the machine learning method for sequence segmentation (mPPR) for the rice resequencing data.
